BrightSign’s new line of XD and XT digital signage media players, the BrightSign Series 3 XD and XT, now support the Appspace App.
Appspace says that its software is already in use by seven of the top 10 Fortune 500 companies, as it enables those companies to communicate their message through a variety of tools that work with retail signage, guest communications and workforce communications.
“Appspace is a formidable presence in the content management space and the integration of our offerings speaks volumes about BrightSign’s commitment to integrate seamlessly with leading digital signage CMS platforms,” notes Jeff Hastings, BrightSign’s CEO.
While Appspace has been available for BrightSign media players for a while, the digital signage player manufacturer recently overhauled its entire line-up. With the overhaul, the company offered seven new players across four product categories.
The categories are: BrightSign LS, described as ‘affordable, compact and fully-featured’, BrightSign HD, an ‘updated classic with mainstream performance’, BrightSign XD, which boasts ‘true 4K playback and advanced performance’ and BrightSign XT, ‘state-of-the-art technology with enterprise performance.
Of course, the BrightSign XD and BrightSign XT are at the top of the product range, with each boasting two players apiece. The XD category features both the XD233 and XD1033, while the XT category is joined by the XT243 and XT1143 – all the players support 4K content streaming at 60fps.
In order to take advantage of Appspace, BrightSign XD and XT users will need to ensure they have the latest firmware update, version 6.2.63.
