Extron Electronics has updated its Room Agent software to version 1.2, bringing full integration of Microsoft’s Office 365 software.
The Room Agent software turns TouchLink Pro touch panels into full-featured booking appliances that display a room’s meeting information and availability.
With Room Agent, the touch panels require no programming, as they simply become a client of Microsoft Exchange. In addition to supporting Microsoft Exchange, the latest version of Room Agent software enables integration with Office 365 for additional scheduling convenience. With Room Agent, booking a room from the touch panel can be done by tapping the reserve button.
The customisable touch panel interface also provides at-a-glance room availability and a timeline view of the room’s status for the rest of the day. In addition to the customisable touch panel interface, bright LEDs within the bezel provide at-a-glance room availability status even from down the hall.

Room Agent is designed to make setting up TouchLink Pro touch panels a snap. Connect the touch panel to a computer, open the software, fill in the required fields that compose the user interface and it’s done.
Customisation options allow fields to be shown or hidden, depending on user preference.
Multiple mounting options are available, including on-wall, in-wall, as well as secure mounting to almost any flat surface, including glass or granite.
