TopGolf, one of America’s largest golfing entertainment companies, is rolling out ZeeVee’s HDbridge series video distribution products to enhance its driving range experience.
Turning to Diem Digital Interiors, an integrator specialising in custom home electronics systems, TopGolf had the company deliver interactive TVs to each hitting bay.
Diem Digital identified ZeeVee’s HDbridge series high performance QAM video distribution solution as the best-suited equipment to deliver the quality, reliability and flexibility required. Price also factored into its decision, with ZeeVee’s solution reportedly 50% cheaper than a traditional matrix switch solution.
The solution Diem Digital proposed and deployed has proven reliable and intuitive, giving accessible control to the staff via any WiFi connected mobile device (iPhone, Android and Windows) whereas this was not possible at TopGolf facilities previously.
With a SAVI Controls interface TopGolf new hires become proficient at controlling the entire AV system in just minutes, substantially cutting down personnel training costs.
“ZeeVee’s HDbridge Series has provided us with an extremely reliable and cost-effective solution for TopGolf,” says Byron Baird, vice president of sales at Diem Digital. “Greater reliability is realised due to the centralised approach and lack of expensive failure prone end point devices behind every TV, making this solution cost effective and simple to maintain.”
“With extensive audio-visual experience and unrivalled customer service, Diem Digital has been an excellent partner for Zv in the US,” adds Chris Scurto, vice president sales and marketing, ZeeVee.
“They tackled the integration challenges presented by the sheer size of a typical 65,000sq ft TopGolf location – with its three levels, 260 TVs and miles of cabling between video endpoints and the control room with ease and delivered an extremely cost-effective and reliable solution.”
