The Tripleplay Mobile Media App allows off network video streaming, content upload, live TV recording, chat and secure encrypted download for off network playback. It is based on the company’s technology used in its TripleStream and TripleChoice MediaPortal solutions.
A release date for the App has not yet been revealed, but CE Pro Europe has been able to confirm that it will be available on both iOS and Android.
Amongst the solutions available on Tripleplay’s stand at ISE 2016, one of the key new announcements for integrators will be the company’s new super low latency HD encoder. The company says that its latest product can deliver 250ms video, glass to glass, while being affordable to boot.
Tripleplay will also show off a new video streaming technology designed to allow safe, secure and reliable delivery of media content in environments with densely packed audience and many mobile devices trying to access rich media from communal Wi-Fi.
The technology is said to be patent-pending and uses a mix of forward error correction and live reporting, which will supposedly deliver a smooth, quality video experience for the user.
Lastly, but by no means least, Tripleplay will also be showing off its BART software platform which boasts features such as native 4K, Samsung SSP and interactive touchscreen support.
Visitors to ISE 2016 can find Tripleplay on stand 11-F85.
