Tripleplay has received an award for Best Technology for Commercial Returns at the 2016 Sports Technology Awards.

The award was presented at a gala ceremony in London on April 15, with the company’s digital signage, IPTV and video streaming platform recognised against the company’s competitors, which included Advanced Ticketing, Brandtix, Mobile Media Content, Rotowire and Vogo.

The award was collected by Tripleplay’s marketing manager, James Keen, who comments “It is an honour to be selected top amongst such esteemed and highly rated competition. We have worked with our partners to generate a genuine revenue stream and are delighted that this has been clarified and vindicated with such a wonderful award.

“We’d like to thank the judges for selecting us, but also to the clubs who took the decision to work with us and have seen that decision vindicated. It is because of them that we have been chosen.”

Tripleplay’s single platform solution is implemented at around 50 stadia and arenas around the world including; Manchester City FC, Chelsea FC, Daytona International Speedway, Derby County FC, Brighton & Hove Albion FC, Stade de France, Twickenham Stadium and Wimbledon Tennis.

Other Sports Technology Award winners included the BBC, NBA, Wimbledon Tennis, IBM and AIG.
