ZeeVee has revealed a brand new video distribution offering at the NAB show in Las Vegas, with the new HDBridge3000 promising to deliver a high density, small footprint system for broadcasters to distribute HD and SD video throughout their facilities.
Coming in a compact 3 RU chassis, the HDBridge3000 is supposedly ZeeVee’s most customisable headend product yet, boasting a whole range of features for installers to utilise.
This includes the ability to have simultaneous outputs for both QAM RF and MPEG2 IP, as well as having up to 24 channels of HD or 72 channels of SD in 3 RU of space. ZeeVee says that the HDBridge3000 also has the application flexibility to mix and match HD and SD outputs.
“The new HDBridge3000 video distribution solution provides hot swappable fans and power supplies with a slot for command control and 12 customizable input slots. This makes it ideal for commercial grade video distribution applications,” notes Chris Scurto, vice president, marketing and North American sales, ZeeVee.
“We have no doubt that the increase in channel density and unparalleled flexibility, combined with an intuitive, yet powerful management system and better price per channel performance, will be a winner with broadcasters and entertainment venues alike.!
In addition to unveiling the HDbridge3000, visitors to NAB 2016 will also see demonstrations of ZeeVee’s family of IP and RF/Coax video distribution products including ZyPer4k which delivers uncompressed 4K/UHD video using off the shelf 10G IP network switches and ZyPerMX a H.264 IP video encoding system on stand SU12022.
Visitors to the stand can also enter to win a 24 channel HDbridge3000 HD video distribution system valued at more than $20,000 (£14,000).
